The 3-Note chordle game uses the basic chords with 3 notes.
The notes may appear in any order.
For example, the C major triad could have any of the following forms
where the notes are in the order CEG, CGE, GCE, CGE, ECG and GEC.

In the 3-Note game, the first note is not always the root note.
The 4-Note chordle game uses the basic chords with 3 notes and also with 4 notes.
The 3-note chords will be extended to 4-notes by adding any one of the notes twice.

After the root note, the other notes may appear in any order, so the chord may be very compact or very spread out, as in the following two versions of a C7 chord.

The 5-Note chordle game uses all of the basic chords with 3 notes, 4 notes and 5 notes.
The 3-note chords will be extended to 5-notes by repeating the other notes in the chord. This means that two of the notes will appear twice, or one of the notes will appear three times.
